HG Toys Fantasy Horses ?

This has nothing to do with Grand Champions, but here are some horses that have been in my collection for many years now and have remained unidentified!
I believe they were produced sometime in the late 80s as part of a collection of Carousel-type horses. It was about '88 when I went to my local KB toys and found a new type of plastic fantasy horse. There were 6-8 of them in this Carousel collection (including a whitish one that I really wanted!) and all of them were in bright colors like these. I believe these were the very same type of horse that I saw that day, but it's hard to remember specifically. I bought a pink one with dark blue hair, and she came with colorful, ornate carousel tack that was made of a flexible rubber. I can't remember if I saw these other horses among the shelved ones, but I have since seen these at ebay with similar carousel tack, so I think there is a connection.
However, I don't think my pink one had any symbols or markings. The symbols shown here are indeed part of the manufacture - they aren't stickers. These three horses were purchased at ebay, and I have never seen any others in the collection. I think there may be a many more of these, and in different types. The green one has a white tube-thing protruding from her back. Is it supposed to be an attachment for a Carousel pole? The others do not have this, so maybe there were a couple different sets of these produced?

These horses are truly a mystery! What are they called? How long were they on the market? And how many are there? These guys have mystified even HG Horse collectors ! If you know anything about them, please share the info!

Mattel's "Other" Swifty ?

Sorry for the bad picture on this one. (Jesus. You'd think 200 Watts would be enough!) This horse is less of a mystery, being more common and manufactured by a well-known company. This is Mattel's old Swift Wind, '84 date and everything, but this is not a POP horse. It was released some time in the late 90s (I think?) and is different in style from the POP line. It has a semi-gloss finish, long hair and a more feminine kind of eye. I want to say "Cherry Merry Muffins" as the toy line, but I really have no idea. Do you?
